Happy Friday!
Thank you for the prayers on Anita's behalf. They have been heard and we are on the right track. Anita received great news today which was so rewarding after having some the news lately. Today we received notification that due to Anita's condition her name has moved to the top of the transplant recipient list. We are hopeful to receive a new liver as soon as possible.
Anita now needs to increase her calorie intake. She has been given permission to have ice cream shakes daily-- although she doesn't feel like one...
Today & tonight she is enjoying playing tractors and being fed ice chips by her most favorite person.. Kimball. He is trying to feed her candy from his Santa Pez dispenser, is telling her lots of stories & keeping her entertained. He even instructs her to relax and watch TV.
We are very appreciate and thankful for the knowledge and experience of the transplant team here at Intermountain Medical Center. Anita is in the best hands and we are so grateful for everything they are doing to take care of her.
Thank you to everyone who has dropped by a gift, sent a card or sent packages with family. The little surprises keep her smiling.
